Welcome to the Raptor Conservation Initiative

Birds of prey are not only majestic hunters, but also essential indicators of the health of our ecosystems. In Africa, a continent rich in biodiversity, these impressive animals face enormous challenges – from habitat loss and collisions with infrastructure to pollution, poaching, and poisoning.

Our initiative is committed to providing African birds of prey with the protection they urgently need. We rely on modern technologies, scientific research, and collaboration with local communities to establish sustainable conservation measures and secure habitats for the long term.

Our three central pillars:

Education & Awareness: Raising public awareness and training in collaboration with local partners to promote sustainable environmental awareness.

Species Conservation & Rehabilitation: Establishment of rehabilitation centers and implementation of targeted rescue and reintroduction programs for injured and threatened birds of prey.

Field research & monitoring: Recording movement patterns, analyzing populations, and identifying danger zones using cutting-edge technologies (e.g., GPS tracking, drone deployment).
